A UXers guide to accessibility
Details
People in design and user-research often underestimate what impact their work can have for people with disabilities, both positively and negatively.
Alastair Campbell started his career doing user-research, but specialised in accessibility and has lots of tips and tricks for UXers who want to do more for accessibility.
Also, as a co-chair of the group that writes the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines he can cover some of the new guidelines being considered for WCAG 2.2. Some of them are aimed at helping people with cognitive disabilities and overlap more with usability and general UX.
Alastair currently works at Nomensa; nomensa.com, and you can follow him on Twitter @alastc
we will publish the attendee link closer to the event
See you then,
