Our first speaker is Silicon Valley entrepreneur and author Jenn LeBlanc. Jenn's latest book, Changing Tides brings together experienced female venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and thought leaders who share their expertise and tactical guidance through a collection of essays.

Join us as Jenn shares her epic stories and astonishing research on Changing Tides.

Originally, business was built by men and for men. Women entering the workplace was an afterthought. It is a place not originally intended for women. So, here we are in 2018 and women are still getting paid less than men. We are not getting our companies funded as frequently as men. And we are not receiving the promotions we deserve. And if we decide to start a family, childcare services are rarely a priority in the workplace.

It's time for a change and there's a lot of work that needs to be done. The good news is that it's starting to happen with groups like Sacramento Biz & Tech For Women.
