What we're about

This group is for WordPress bloggers, designers, developers and those interested in learning more about WordPress, the world's best blogging and content management software. It's social, fun, and educational. Join us to share your experiences and learn from others.

WordPress Meetup Guidelines:

  1. WordPress Meetups are for the benefit of the WordPress community as a whole, not specific businesses or individuals. All actions taken as an event organizer are with the best interest of the community in mind.
  2. Membership in the local meetup group is open to all who wish to join, regardless of ability, skill, financial status or any other criteria.
  3. Meetups are volunteer-run with volunteer speakers.
  4. Meetup groups allow events to be organized by any reliable/trusted member of the community.
  5. Meetups are welcoming places where everyone works to foster an accepting environment which is free of discrimination, incitement to violence, promotion of hate, and general jerk-like behavior.

WordPress Global Community Sponsors help fund WordPress Meetup groups and WordCamps around the world. Thank you to WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Jetpack, Nexcess, Bluehost, and Weglot, for their support!

How to join online meeting:

  1. RSVP via Meetup.com to get the Zoom link.
  2. Sign in to Zoom using the same name as on your Meetup.com profile. In an effort to combat "Zoombombing”, all participants start in the Waiting Room and will only be admitted if your name matches your RSVP.
  3. Meetings are recorded, so if you wish not to be recorded, please turn off your video and mute your audio.
  4. Please use the chat feature to post questions or comments if someone else is speaking. This will allow us to be able to follow up with you on anything you might add.
  5. Please keep your audio muted unless you’re speaking. This will help cut down on background noise.
  6. Please don’t disrupt the presentation or make trolling comments, or you risk being moved back to the Waiting Room and reported to Zoom and Meetup.
