An opportunity to dance the salsa with style, strength and confidence. SalsaAtl.com's hour-long classes take place every Sunday and are designed to help beginners master their Cuban hip movement. However, if you've been practicing in front of your mirror for a while and feel ready to step it up, there are also advanced beginner and intermediate classes. All you need are comfortable clothes and dance sneakers or leather-soled shoes (heels are fine for females). Be as dressy as you want, but be forewarned: you're gonna sweat while you're learning your breaks and three-step weight changes. As a proud member of the Atlanta Salsa Meetup Group, SalsaAtl.com's classes could have you ready for the World Salsa Championships in no time.
Salsa is a blend of melody, seduction, rhythm and, most of all, fun. You’ll learn step-by-step the intricate moves of your hips, legs, feet - and even that seductive stare (Ohh la la!). Build your stamina and perfect your steps as you and your partner go from Salsa novices to talented performers. You’ll reduce stress, increase energy, improve strength and muscle tone – all while being immersed in tradition, rhythm and entertainment.
