Kafka Streams for Microservices
public group

Details
Come join this June for Ryanne Dolan's talk on Kafka Streams for Microservices.
Stream processing apps consume and produce events, often transforming one event stream into another. Kafka Streams lets you define and run streams processing apps in Java with a familiar high-level API. Whereas streams processing in the past has required dedicated clusters (Spark, Samza), Kafka Streams apps can be embedded within your existing microservices. I’ll give a brief introduction to the API and show off some advanced applications, including how you can get rid of all those caches and the request-response-timeout logic you have everywhere.
