Traditional Yoga in the Park

Details
Yoga for all levels. Bring a yoga mat* or a beach towel.
This is old-fashioned yoga and meditation, inspired by an ages-long tradition of Himalayan cave-dwelling yogis. They refined knowledge of The Vedas into a wisdom that is practical and systematic--for regular people to apply to their lives.
Meet at the park, Mondays, 10am. Donation--$10--is voluntary.
It's basically stretching and bending combined with visualization and breathing patterns. If you have never tried it, I think you will like it. Yoga is an exploration of the astounding powers you already have.
By practicing mind-body-breath connection you will reveal, remember and nourish the confidant, balanced, determined, indomitable, radiant and loving Forces from within.
Samantha Smith is a yoga teacher from the tradition of the Himalayan Sages, guided by Rod Stryker and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait PhD. Her style weaves ancient knowledge into a system of "what works" for people here-and-now. "My favorite thing in the world is to talk to people about how to make their spark of individuality burn even brighter, and ways we can encourage a sense of community to support and heal each other."
- We are on the grass. Yoga mat is optional. A towel or blanket is great if you don't have a mat. (If you are looking to purchase a new mat, I have some new, "eco" mats; $20--just ask.)
