Hollywood Panel Free Library Adventure

Adventures by the Book is pleased to partner with the Carlsbad City Library for a Free Library Adventure with a panel of three wonderful authors, Susan Meissner, Suzanne Redfearn, and Anne Girard.

Each of these three authors has written their own enchanting novel set in the illustrious world of Hollywood. The stars and glam of Los Angeles have enticed the public for decades, creating the perfect setting for unforgettable characters and page turning drama. In their books Susan, Suzanne, and Anne each draw on characters from history and the scandal & danger of the Hollywood lifestyle.

Join us on this Free Library Adventure for a discussion with these three authors on how they took inspiration from the same illicit stardom and draw of Hollywood, but also how they each crafted their own unique tale with that inspiration: from Jean Harlow to the set of Gone With the Wind to the dangers of child stardom.
