Summer Evening Concert at Downtown El Cajon City Park, The Heart of Rock & Roll

Summer 0f 21 Concert Series continues with "The Heart of Rock & Roll" at the City of El Cajon Downtown park. The City of El Cajon has a summer concert series called "Dinner and a Concert." Concerts are on Friday nights in the park right across the street from Downtown Cafe.

As the longest running Huey Lewis & The News tribute band, The Heart of Rock & Roll (THoRR, for short) is a top tier show that goes beyond mere tribute with a frontman who brings to life the sound and look of Huey Lewis so accurately that he's fooled more than a few fans.

2021 marks the 8th year for our Southern California based tribute to the 80s icons. Our current line up includes 7 supremely talented musicians (expandable up to 10 with our optional horn section) who have toured with music legends Donna Summer, Loggins & Messina, Olivia Newton-John and Dave Mason just to name a few so you can be confident that our show is the highest level of talent and professionalism.

We will be doing an after concert dinner party at Downtown Cafe which is right across the street. The band playing that night is not listed as of the date of this writing, and there will be dancing until 9pm.

*** If you come to Downtown Cafe you are expected buy at least one drink and dinner or dessert ($20 minimum) ***
