Astrology and predictive methods come alive by reading biographies of well-known people whose lives went through sudden and profound change. Beginning with natal charts of such people and their potential for change, we will then analyze the progressions and transits at critical times in the lives. Following the analysis of famous people as above, participants may supply their charts and a date of major change for the group to then discuss the nature and impact of the astrological factors at work.
Rich Humbert has been practicing astrology for over 40 years. He is an accredited instructor with Aquarius Workshops in Los Angeles. He first encountered metaphysical ideas while stationed at Camp Pendleton in 1962. While browsing the Oceanside public library’s unusually large collection of occult books, Annie Besant’s writing flipped on his spiritual switch. After a brief flirtation with music in the late 60’s, he taught himself how to cast a horoscope and started the life-long process of learning astrology.
After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he resumed active work in astrology and soon began study with Marion March, celebrated author, founder of the UAC conferences and Aquarius Workshops. In 1999 he resumed teaching astrology by co-teaching a series of master classes with Marion March until the time of her death in 2001. He developed his own “Turning Points” classes in predictive methods for advanced students. He continues to lecture, teach and consult with individuals and businesses internationally.
