About us
This is a meetup group for asexuals, demisexuals, grey-aces and all other members of the ace community, and their friends. Our goal is to help members to meet other aces and learn more about asexuality. You can learn more about our group and find lots of recommend resources at asexualitysf.org.
We currently have regular monthly meetups that rotate between Berkeley, San Francisco, and the South Bay, as well as online book club. We also have additional special events for LGBTQ+ Pride Month, Ace Week, an annual "UnConference", and more.
We also love to see more meetups outside of our regularly scheduled events, so if you have an idea for a new meetup, feel free to suggest it.

Asexuality SF Tabling at Berkeley Pride - Volunteers Wanted!
MLK JR Memorial Park, 2151 MLK JR Way, Berkeley, CA, USJoin us at the Berkeley Pride festival! This outdoor street fair runs from 11am - 5pm at MLK Park in Downtown Berkeley.
Asexuality SF will be doing outreach tabling, and we'd love to see you there - either as a volunteer to table with us, or even if you just want to stop by and say hi while checking out the rest of the event!
Standard Admission is $20, but we can also sponsor a limited number of free passes for volunteers if you can commit to tabling with us for at least 2-3 hours. Volunteer slots do not need to be consecutive - split shifts are fine. If you would like to sign up for a volunteer slot, please add your name to any open volunteer shifts here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DL5AB8Z5AjSLPbgxcOQh0EzBSQfmYuw9O0w4IRnZtoY
After adding your name, please message your contact information to admin@asexualitysf.org. Thank you!
Please note: we are still waiting on confirmation of setup details and timing from the event organizers; this event and the linked volunteers page will be updated as we receive final updates.
As tabling volunteers, we'll be answering basic questions about Asexuality SF and what kind of meetups we have coming up, and providing general info about asexuality. We'll also have a button maker set up to allow attendees to make their own custom buttons. No prior training or knowledge required - we'll have links and resources available at the table for you to refer people to, and can walk you through button making when you arrive.
