San Francisco Beach Volleyball (SFBV) is a community-driven group that brings together beach volleyball enthusiasts for fun, competitive, and social play. Founded in 2015, our mission is to connect like-minded individuals, foster friendships, and create a welcoming space for players to improve their skills while enjoying the sport.
How We Operate
We host weekly volleyball games every Saturday, offering a structured and fun way to meet new people and enjoy competitive play. RSVP opens every Saturday afternoon—please sign up early and update your status if your plans change to help us manage group size and court setup.
Our events are made possible through the efforts of dedicated organizers and member donations, which help cover equipment and operational costs. Your contributions keep SFBV running and ensure we can continue hosting games—thank you for being part of the community!
Liability Waiver & Safety Guidelines
By joining the SFBV Meetup group or participating in any of its events, you acknowledge and agree to the SFBV Liability Waiver and Release Form:
- Participation is at your own risk—SFBV and its organizers are not liable for injuries or personal property loss.
- Safe play is required—no reckless dives, excessive force, or dangerous movements.
- Clear communication—call “Mine!” or “Help!” to prevent collisions.
