Lane and Thor have been hanging out on the Web since it was invented.
They've caused plenty of "trouble" separately, but together they were the brains behind Get Satisfaction. The idea for "Get Sat" originated while building their previous company, Valleyschwag (http://techcrunch.com/tag/valleyschwag/). They realized that building cross-communication platforms was essential to effectively developing and harnessing the enthusiasm of customer communities.
Later, the duo co-authored the New York Times bestselling book, Get Lucky: How to Put Planned Serendipity to Work, which focuses on serendipity as a business practice.
Lane (https://twitter.com/monstro) is currently working with the non-profit Code for America to develop an open-source technology platform for cities. Thor (https://twitter.com/tempo), among many a thing, is presently a product advisor at PacerPro.
Come and hear one of the best tag-teams in SF - nay, the tech world - speak about the ins and outs of building online communities.
