Holiday Drinks at Kilowatt

Hey Guys,

Thank you to everyone who responded to my SOS last week about the group closing down.

I received such a warm response to my post and it means a lot to me to hear that so many of you value our little meetup and would like to see it live on.

With that I’m happy to announce that I’ve found three wonderful people who have agreed to generously commit their time to helping me lead the group ensuring that we have a steady and diverse calendar of events going forward.

To celebrate let’s get together next Thursday at the good ol’ Kilowatt for some pre-holiday drinks and catch each other up on what we’ve been working on. This will also be a great opportunity to meet Chris (https://www.meetup.com/San-Francisco-Creative-Coders/members/13879515/), Tara (https://www.meetup.com/San-Francisco-Creative-Coders/members/61729972/) and Robert (https://www.meetup.com/San-Francisco-Creative-Coders/members/70919412/) and talk to us if you’d like to get more involved with the group as we can always use more hands on deck.

Call for speakers / present your work

We’re looking at having our first event in mid to late January and are looking for folks to share projects they’re working on or have recently completed. Presentations should be about 5-10 minutes, we’ll have a projector setup so just bring your laptop.

When we’ve done this in the past it’s always been laid back and super chill so if you’re interested in presenting don’t be shy, we’d love to see what you’re working on.

Thanks again to all of you for your amazing participation and support over the years. I’m excited for this next iteration of the group and hope you’ll continue to be involved and help us grow and learn from each other.
