Everything ChatOps with StackStorm & BigPanda

Details

Hey Folks - so we didn't manage to reschedule this in time to preserve the previous event and its RSVPs - so you will need to RSVP again - sorry about that. Barring any hurricanes, earthquakes, meteors, or other unforeseen circumstances - this should be happening, and it should be awesome, so please join us!

We have an excellent event lined up on all things ChatOps - everything from theory to practice.

A big thanks to Geekdom (http://geekdomsf.com/) for hosting us, and TrueAbility (http://www.trueability.com) for sponsoring food & drinks. (There will be beer - so drinking is allowed for those 21 or older.)

On the agenda:

7:00 PM - ChatOps: technology and philosophy, James Fryman - Stackstorm

Session Abstract:

What are some best practices for implementing and maintaining ChatOps in your environment? And what about the philosophy of ChatOps? Where did it come from and where is it going?

7:35 PM - Break

7:45 PM - ChatOps FTW! Dan Chuparkoff - BigPanda

Session Abstract:

ChatOps works! It creates a common conscience - hive style. It’s also fast and easy. Join us to hear how BigPanda uses HipChat, Hubot, and Ansible for deploying, monitoring, standups, and for sharing internet cats!

A big thanks to our host & sponsors:
