[SOMA] Swap Party: Trade your stuff for other stuff! [FREE]
Details
Do you have stuff lying around that you don't need anymore? Bring them to the swap party and trade them for things you do need. It's that simple.

They say "One man's trash is another man's treasure". We will put that quote to the test at our very first swap party!
This idea is inspired by the Bunz community (https://bunz.com/). They have an app for trading things with people near you.
A few guidelines:
• Do not exchange money, items are only for trading
• No discriminatory, abusive, or illegal items
• Beer is a common currency, bring beer to trade (or to drink!)
Here is where we'll hold the swap party. The Mango Dome Community Center is an event space that's used for all types of events, including ours.
The Plan:
04:00 PM: Meet at the Mango Dome Community Center
04:15 PM: Label and arrange your items
04:30 PM: Begin the swap!
07:00 PM: Post swap party food
The swap party will go till everyone is done swapping, so feel free to come later.
What to bring:
You can bring pretty much anything that you can safely carry
Clothing, books, electronics, food, beverages, crafts, gear, supplies, etc.
If you don't have items to trade, that's okay! You can also trade homemade food, services (massage, language lessons, palm reading, etc), and anything else people will find valuable.
Transportation:
BART/Muni: one block south Civic Center station
If you drive, there is a paid lot directly across the street.
