Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon: Pride Month

Learn to edit Wikipedia pages and contribute to making knowledge more accessible! Join us on June 28th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in editing and/or writing Wikipedia articles of interest to the LGBTQ+ community. Learn the basics of Wikipedia editing and learn more about influential and unsung LGBTQ figures. All experience levels are welcome.
The San Diego Wikimedians User Group, an affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation, will be giving a short tutorial on getting started with Wikipedia. Afterwards, we will begin editing! Computers will be available. Attendees may bring their own WiFi-enabled devices if they so desire, though in-room outlet space may be limited. Please register and reserve your space below!

COVID-19 safety measures

Event will be indoors

This is an in-person event. Masks may be required and social distancing protocol will be followed. From https://www.sandiego.gov/coronavirus : "Starting Oct. 4, 2021, the City will require all employees and visitors who are not fully vaccinated to wear a facial covering at all times inside of City facilities. Indoor use of facial coverings for fully vaccinated employees and visitors is recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Cal/OSHA and the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency.
