This event is organized by our friends at the Green Tortoise Hostel in SF in order to provide a fun, safe space for solo female travelers to connect with one another. There are usually 25-40 solo female travelers staying at the hostel that attend each week who don't RSVP on meetup - so there's always a diverse group of people to meet. We've copied all the info below so be sure to READ EVERYTHING and follow the RSVP instructions. And yes, the dinner event is for FEMALES ONLY. Mix and Mingle with other international female travelers & au pairs. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we have a free, vegetarian group dinner for all hostel guests. We have temporarily decided to open this event up on Wednesday nights to all international female travelers in SF in an effort to connect solo female travelers with one another. You must check in with the event host at 7PM. We'll have a designated space allocated for the group to meet new travel buddies and connect with new international friends. Afterwards, socialize with a wide range of international travelers and locals as everyone from the hostel heads out for a bar crawl with cheap drinks.

EVENTS SCHEDULE

7PM SHARP: Meet out front of 494 Broadway St. for event check in. The international living room used for this event is a private space and there are strict rules for entry so please be sure to arrive on time. After 7PM, you will NOT be able to enter the building. Latecomers are welcome to meet us OUT FRONT of the hostel at 8:30PM as described above.

7-7:15PM: Meet & Greet.

7-8PM: Free dinner buffet for the group and all hostel guests. Enjoy salad, vegetarian pasta, garlic bread and pastries for dessert. Feel free to bring your own wine, beer, drinks, etc.

8:30PM: Everyone from the hostel will head outside to meet up with locals and international travelers from around SF. We'll go on a bar crawl in the neighborhood with cheap drinks!

The private hostel dinner event is all ages and is a connection/networking event for international female travelers only. Be sure to bring an International ID (ie: a passport or driver's license that is NOT from the USA) to attend. You MUST register in advance and bring your CONFIRMATION EMAIL - as you will need to check in at 7PM SHARP in order to be allowed into the building. If you are NOT an international female with a NON-US id, you are welcome to join everyone at 8:30PM out front of the hostel for the bar crawl.

We meet on the NORTHEAST CORNER of Broadway St. & Kearny St. - Look for the pink "PUB CRAWL Meeting Point" Sign OUTSIDE 498 Broadway St at the bottom of the Peter Macchiarini Steps. We do NOT stay here or go inside - it is only a check in point. At 8:45PM SHARP, we will leave for the stop of the crawl. You MUST check in between 8:30PM and 8:45PM if you are planning to attend - please do not try and join us mid-way into the crawl.

The pub crawl is run by volunteers at hostels in SF so that there's a place for backpackers and locals to meet each other. The event gets a bunch of travelers from all over the city along with locals. Come join us, have some drinks, and meet some new peeps. We do a weekly rock-paper-scissors tournament pub crawl on Wednesdays. Everyone competes while moving from bar-to-bar so that it's easy to meet new people. Winner of the tournament gets a bar tab. We mainly get about 50-60 backpackers who are staying at hostels around the city.
