The Ultimate Washington Waterfalls Hike Trip Part 1

Green Lake Park and Ride

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nXdFzgzUQw We have breathtaking waterfalls everywhere in Washington. If you were to stop at every one of our state’s cascades, it could take days – maybe even weeks. The Olympic Peninsula is the best place to start, with some of the most magical falls in and around the Olympic National Park. If you’re up for the ultimate adventure, here’s an easy trip we will take to see falls in about a few hours from Seattle. Perhaps the most underrated waterfall on the Olympic Peninsula is this hidden cascade, which drops over 70 feet in two tiers. The trail (http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/spoon-creek-falls/) to the falls is easy, mostly downhill and less than a mile round-trip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_YDawT3qh8 The maple glade trail is a wonderful rain forest hike that is flat and quite easy. You will see many types of wild life on this trail including roosevelt elks. Before wrapping up your trip, this waterfall up the road from the Lake Quinault Lodge is too lovely to miss. Located along South Shore Road, Merriman Falls is the easiest to access in the whole Quinault area. The cascade drops about 40 feet down a short cliff into a pile of rocks covered in moss and ferns! ***We will then BBQ on the shores of Lake Quinalt ! We will need drivers, $20 gas cost will be given to the drivers before the trip, We will congregate to the park and ride and separate into the driver vehicles. Please pay the driver before the trip. You will need to pay for your food and activities while on this trip. We will have name tags for all my events. So I get to know your name and makes it easy to mingle. Two no show policy will be applied. RSVP ETIQUETTE: Since we have limited space I ask that you be considerate of others and commit to your RSVP. Your no-show may prevent someone else from attending and you from attending other limited events like this.
