Global Game Jam

Details
The Global Game Jam brings together talented individuals from within your community. It is a unique opportunity for people to push their skills and challenge their way of working. Participants work concurrently with developers around the globe; we rally around a central theme, and then have 48 hours to create a game. It's our hope that we will see some very experimental realized prototypes that you can continue to work on after the jam. Many games developed in previous Game Jams have become fully realized games. The GGJ is open source, hardware & software agnostic and all projects are protected under a Creative Commons license. We encourage people to try out new ideas and push themselves, within reason. We also strongly encourage participants to remember to eat and sleep, to stay at their best!
Facebook Seattle has generously offered to host our site this year and will be providing meals, security and 24/7 access to the space. You will be required to wear a visitor badge at all times while onsite and photo ID will be required to enter.
As per usual only tables, power and internet will be provided so please bring all of the necessary equipment and software with you for you to be able to participate in the jam. We'll kick off the jam with a brief presentation on Friday evening and end with a show & tell for anyone that wants to present their work to the rest of the jammers at our site.
Please make sure you also register on the global game jam site at some point before the jam starts to get credit for participation
