Feed the Homeless - Northend

Every Saturday morning, Shower to the People provides free hot Showers to the Homeless in their converted RV in Lynnwood.
This is a great opportunity to directly help the Homeless Community in the Northend with a Meal Service while people wait.

We are a Grassroots Organization. We NEED Food Donations from Volunteers to feed the Homeless every week. This is not a Soup Kitchen! We are a Pop-up and serve the Food people bring that day!

Please be on time so we can set up together, know how much food we will have for service, and be prepared before lunchtime.
Kids are welcome!

We have been serving an average of 60 people each week but that can vary. You do not need to bring enough for 60 if you bring a donation; any amount is great! Not every Volunteer is expected to donate, but if are able to bring Food, that would be amazing!
Please let us know what you’d like to bring!
Suggestions:
-Any Entree you'd like to make, Casserole, Meat, etc.
-Pizza, Sandwiches, Wraps, Fried Chicken
-Side Dishes, Salads, Veggies
-Soups & Stews
-Bottled or Can Drinks (Water, Soda, Juice, Coffee, Energy Drinks, etc.)
-Fruit, Dessert, sweets etc.
-Individual size chips, snacks, etc.
-String Cheese, Jerky or Pepperoni Sticks
-Sack Lunches are always appreciated!
-Nonperishable Food for folks to take with them: Apple sauce, fruit cups, nuts, granola bars, etc.

-We ALWAYS need more Tables! If you're able to being a folding table with you, that'd be awesome!
-We could also use XL Heavy Paper Plates, COOLERs with Ice (to borrow), and to-go containers/Tupperware.
-STtP could always use Deodorant, T-shirts (Mens size L or larger), Socks & Underwear.

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT. Please dress for the weather, and bring everything you'll need to serve your dish. Kitchen Facilities and Electric are not available.

If you work for a company that provides a Company Donation match through Benevity, Shower to the People is set up as a Cause. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, ADP are just a few that use this service. Please log your donations for an employer match or time or donations to STtP. Please ensure you choose your Local Shower to the People Organization.
