Details
πππ»π¦β°οΈπ SPOOKY Scouts!ππ»π¦β°οΈππ Sponsored by PubNub!
Y'all ready to get SPOOKY? Halloween is just around the corner- and we're going to gather 'round the campfire to tell some tales from the crypt(o). We've assembled some CodeBusters (it's like GhostBusters, but with more LaCroix and AllBirds) to come and talk about their scariest bugs. Think "Are You Afraid of the Dark" on SNICK, but way nerdier and little less Canadian. We'll bring the Halloween candy, pumpkin-themed snacks (there's gotta be pumpkin-oreos, right?), and s'mores- you bring your appetite for scary stories about missing semi-colons [π± cue evil laugh π±]. COSTUMES HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. ππ»π¦β°οΈπ
What can you expect?
-
A truly diverse panel of speakers
-
Open discussion among attendees
-
Powerpoint Karaoke (plus other fun camp-themed activities)
-
Commemorative patches and stickers (get the world's first Security merit badge!)
-
Good food. Camp food. S'mores anyone?
-GHOSTS AND SKELETONS π»π
Our Sentry Scouts Meetups are intended to be an open discussion. Think of it as gathering around the campfire where we swap stories with featured panelists, fellow engineers, and friends! The best part is when we open up the discussion to the entire Scouts troop (that's you). Prepare comments and questions! We look forward to seeing you there! π»π£π₯
Do you have what it takes to earn our SPOOKY merit badge? Of course you do -- you literally just have to show up. This is the the tenth (and a half) of 12 monthly Sentry Scouts Meetups for 2018! We look forward to seeing you on 10/30 π
