Shake A Leg OC is a community of people that get together to run and share experiences, tips, and motivation. Runners of all levels are welcome to join no matter what the reason. This is a great environment for those that want to get in shape, stay in shape, improve your health or improve your time. This is an opportunity to take action and make positive changes and include running toward a wellness lifestyle.
I'm Guy Morioka, Organizer of Shake A Leg OC Runners. I am also a Chiropractor at Morioka Chiropractic at Harbour Health Center in Huntington Beach and a certified Natural Running Coach. My personal goal is to run a marathon each year and Shake A Leg OC Runners provides me the opportunity to train with others.
I also find it challenging and dangerous to share the roads with automobile traffic. Therefore, Shake A Leg OC Runners meets up at Harriet Wieder Regional Park in Huntington Beach and Upper Newport Back Bay in Newport Beach. These location provide a safer environment with a pleasant surrounding and various trails to keep the runs interesting. It's much more fun sharing the bike paths and trails with other runners, dog walkers, bird watchers, clean up volunteers, cyclist and many more.

Let’s run the 10 mile loop or anything in between. Meet us at the picnic table at the entrance to the Muth parking lot. Be sure to manage your own hydration and bring some water. Social distancing and wearing facial masks suggested during these covid times.
Its that time of year to enjoy the beautiful sunsets while we burn some calories on the run path of Huntington Beach. We run an out and back for a total of up to 5 miles.
After the run we go for Taco Tuesday at Chronic Taco on 11th Street
