Are you a fan of Sherlock Holmes? This group loves the stories of Arthur Conan Doyle, murder mystery and detective fiction. We have about 9 meetings a year that consist of interesting speakers, presentations, news, quizzes, story discussions, songs and prizes. Our official name is the Bootmakers of Toronto.

Bootmakers Meeting, April 11
Location not specified yetThis month, a special meeting has been called so that The Bootmakers of Toronto may study the unpublished cases of Sherlock Holmes!
Our Special Guest will be David Marcum, described by Nicholas Meyer as "among the best" and "characterized by unflagging imagination and ceaseless ingenuity". David has edited over 60 books and 800 Sherlockian pastiches. He is the creator of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Storiesand most recently, the author of The Papers of Sherlock Holmes, He will be speaking to us about The Untold Cases (and Pastiches).
And who else but our own Chris Redmond would be better able to offer us a most interesting quiz on The Untold Cases?
We also have a special treat from minstrel Jim Ballinger, who will regale us with musical Songs of The Untold Cases.
And Cliff Goldfarb will be presenting a short humorous piece on The Real Cases Behind the Canon.
