Moms Clean Air Force: Fighting for Our Children’s Health and Future

Details

At this program, our presenter Elizabeth Hauptman from Moms Clean Air Force will share information about upcoming legislation before the house and senate that will protect our children's health and future. Armed with the facts, you too can engage with your representatives about your climate concerns.

Moms Clean Air Force is working in Michigan to fight for clean air and a stable climate. They host events, share information about what's going on, and create opportunities for parents and concerned citizens to talk to their legislators about their climate concerns.

About the presenter:
Elizabeth lives in Brighton with her husband, son, three dogs and two cats. She became a member of Moms Clean Air Force in 2012 and is an avid volunteer. She became the Moms Clean Air Force Field Coordinator in 2019 and the 2021 Michigan Lead Organizer for the Climate Action Campaign (coalition with EDF, Sierra Club, and Green Door Initiative.) She is deeply passionate about her work, and it is deeply personal to her because Elizabeth's son and niece both suffer from asthma and are affected by poor air quality.
