RATTLESNAKE to FLORES PEAK: Hike up Rattlesnake canyon to Gibraltar Road (1500’) and then scramble up 700' on a steep, primitive trail to Flores peak. Strenuous 7 mrt. We will stop for short breaks along the way with a brief lunch at the top.

There is some rock scrambling and exposure involved so must be comfortable with heights and ledges. Hand and upper body strength for climbing the last section is required. Appropriate for intermediate hikers who exercise regularly. Under 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent.

The hike leader has the right and responsibility to refuse a participant for any reason, including lack of appropriate clothing/footwear/gear, sufficient water or food, and/or behavior deemed unacceptable to the leader and other participants. You may be asked to leave if you do not comply with any and all leader requests at any time during the hike.

MUST bring 2-3 liters of water, snacks, sun protection, and wear good hiking shoes. This will be approximately a 4-5 hour excursion.
