Understanding Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies

With over 1500 cryptocurrencies in today’s market it can be daunting to understand what’s actually going on in the bitcoin and cryptocurrency(or altcoin) space. What is bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Why are there so many cryptocurrencies? How do you stay on top of this growing list? What’s an ICO? Not everything is clear but we’ll attempt to debunk this.

We’ll first hear from Viveik, Founder of Silicon Valley Blockchain Consortium, Early Stage investor and Blockchain startup Advisor, as he dives into the birth and history of bitcoin and the recent emergence of the cryptocurrency market/ICO’s. We’ll then have the pleasure of hearing from Constellation Labs CEO Brendan Playford and COO (Operations) Ben Jorgensen.
