DESCRIPTION: We will have two presentations: 1. Scott Middleton, CEO and Founder at Scott will share how a simple natural language processing algorithm developed for Stratejos can solve project health, project admin, employee training, performance and critical path problems. 2. Mac Steele, Director of Product at Domino Data Lab - Models are the central output of Data Science, and they have tremendous power to transform companies, industries and society. Despite the advantages of being model-driven most companies are stuck trying to get there. Companies are treating the Model Lifecycle as being analogous to the Software Development Lifecycle when they are, in fact very different. To overcome the “Model Myth”, companies need to develop a new organization capability called Model Management. Mac Steel will present on Best Practices for Managing the Data Science Lifecycle and conduct a fun interactive exercise to identify your most critical lifecycle challenges and best practices to help solve them.
