What we’re about
The mission of Singapore ACM SIGKDD Chapter is to foster and promote the development of the community for data mining, data science and analytics in support of Singapore’s Smart Nation effort.
We aim to create and sustain a premier forum that brings together researchers, practitioners and users of data science in industry, government and academia, by organising events and seminars with distinguished speakers from local, regional and international landscape.
We also aim to contribute towards building up the knowledge, skills and capabilities of local data scientists through hands-on tutorial sessions, mini-courses, and informative meetups.

Singapore ACM SIGKDD Symposium 2026
Singapore University of Technology and Design, 8 Somapah Road, 487372, SGThe Singapore ACM SIGKDD Symposium 2026 (“KDD Singapore Symposium”) is an in-person event organized by the Singapore ACM SIGKDD Chapter, in parallel with AAAI 2026. The Symposium aims to invite local and international researchers to introduce their recent research works in KDD areas, and connect the researchers with industry companies. The event was last held in 2023 and 2024.
Date: 20 January 2026
Venue: Singapore University of Technology and Design (about 12-minute walking distance from the AAAI 2026 venue, Singapore EXPO)
The Symposium will be a one-day event consisting of:
- 3 keynote talks from both academia and industry
- 9 oral presentations and 31 poster presentations of recent advances published at top-tier venues in AI and data science.
