QuantCon Hackathon

QuantCon Singapore Competition

The QuantCon Hackathon is a free, quantitative finance competition that runs from 11AM ~ 6PM in Singapore. Quants, data scientists, students, and anyone else interested in quant finance, are welcome to participate.

Participants will learn, create, and compete with alpha signal factors developed on the Quantopian platform. Winners will be determined using a rigorous, quantitative judging process by team members from Quantopian.

11AM - 11:30AM: Intro to Quantopian's Research environment and alpha factor creation library

11:30AM - 11:45AM: Explanation of Hackathon Rules

11:45AM ~ 12:30PM: Hackathon Session 1

12:30PM ~ 1:00PM: Lunch

1:00PM ~ 5:00PM: Hackathon Session 2

5:00PM ~ 5:30PM: Call for Submissions with Quantopian Judge

5:30PM ~ 6:00PM: End of Hackathon and final wrap-up
