What we’re about
This is a ladies only group, for women of all nationalities and ages living in Singapore. Its for Expats and Singaporeans - everyone is welcome.
The purpose of the group is to give women in Singapore a chance to make new friends, enjoy social outings, increase their social circle and discover Singapore.
Who should join? Any lady who lives in Singapore and would like to make some new friends and increase their social life!
The success of this group relies on a group of Event Hosts who post a variety of interesting activities for members to attend. Once you've attended some activities and have a feel for the group, you may like to step up to being an Event Host, just send me a message & I’ll add your name to the list.
Please only join the group if you intend to become an active member. The spirit of this Meetup group is "not for profit". The aim is to provide an avenue for ladies to socialize & make friends. It is not a business, political or religious group.
Please do not join SILG if your aim is to promote your businesses/product &/or political/religious beliefs.
If you feel your business may provide activities that would interest some SILG Members, please attend some activities first, to get a feel of the group. If you still think you have a "fee paying" activity to offer, please contact the group administrator. Such activities will only put forward if you can offer a discount to SILG members.
In the Pages section you will find some information that you may find useful. Most of the things listed were happy discoveries but some are things I wish somebody had told me, before I learned the hard way!

If you have any advice or discoveries you'd like to share with the group please let me know so I can add information to the pages. Just tell me where you think it should be listed or if your contribution needs to go on a new page.
Also, if I've written anything that you disagree with or know to be incorrect please let me know.
Don't forget to use our Message Board to post any interesting places you've been in Singapore that you think our members might be interested in - or places you've been on holiday - or any upcoming events such as theatre shows etc.
