Shirish and I work very hard to secure venue for this event and we are very grateful that SGInnovate is happy to host our very first meeting on the 9/1/2018 (Tues) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Event Synopsis:
In this meeting, attendees will form teams with like-minded data scientists on Kaggle challenges of interest. In the following four weeks, the team will discuss the challenge, form a strategy and implement it. The outcome would then be presented to the audience at the Data Science Evening (our second meeting).

Please look for one or few completed Kaggle challenges of your interest and post them in the comment session below. This will facilitate matching people with the same interest. We focus on completed challenges because algorithms for live challenges are not allowed to be discussed in public (due to confidentiality of the competition).

Hi all! Thanks for joining! This is our very first meetup. The aims are to:
(1) get to know each other;
(2) discuss about the group structure, venue and how this group can be organised so that it is beneficial to all members
(3) discuss about the first Kaggle challenge to tackle
The location will be decided later depending on the number of potential turnout.
