You need to read this information to understand the details of the hike.
RSVP using ONLY the Orange County Singles for Christ Meetup group. https://www.meetup.com/OC-Singles-for-Christ/events/
This is a beginner 8 mile loop over the hills in the community of Turtle Rock. We will begin at University Town Center on Campus Drive. Parking is available along Stanford or in the UTC parking lot. See the map below on this Meetup page for the starting location. Our goal is to hike through Mason Park, over Turtle Rock, across some smaller hills, over French Hill, then back to UTC for lunch. You may bring your lunch or buy lunch at the shops at UTC. The photos of this event show a route but Google does not have the exact trails that we will be taking. There are restrooms at UTC and Mason Park. Dogs are allowed on this trail.
Fun hiking within socializing distance is our goal. Come enjoy the company of other like-minded hikers. Social distancing is the personal discretion of each hiker. Please be considerate and stay home if you have any signs of illness or uncomfortable feelings.
Please use the Meetup messaging system to communicate with Jack or the participating members. The Meetup platform has a great messaging system so we can interact and discuss parking, lunch, and other issues among all RSVP'd members. Dealing individually with a number of texts and emails is just not viable while commencing and during an event.
By voluntarily attending, you assume the risks of the event and agree to release our organization, the event host, and other participants from claims for any and all injuries or other losses sustained during this event.
Our point of contact is Jack, he can be reached at [masked]. Jack can be reached at[masked] ONLY on the day of this event!
