Note: This event is for those who have experienced events with similar conditions, distance, elevation and pace. Your trip history will be checked.

It is a requirement that you read the following trip posting very carefully and make the proper and responsible preparations for it. Failure to do so will result in participant not being allowed on this trip. A waiting list has automatically been created to determine this trip’s suitability for you as a potential participant. You must meet all the per-requisites to be eligible to attend this trip.

If the organizer deems it necessary to obtain additional information from you, please provide it, otherwise, you will remain on the waiting list.

Distance: <12 km round trip

Elevation Gain: > 900m

Time: 5 - 6 hours + driving time.

Technical Difficulty: Dependant up on conditions - OT 5;S5/6 with possibility of snowy / icy sections.

Physical Difficulty: Depending on conditions: with snow - harder than without. No beginners

Trip will be counter-clockwise loop.

Event Pace: Moderate or as fast as the slowest member.

Restrictions: No Guests as membership is free!

Maximum Hikers: 8 +

Mandatory Gear: Prepare for winter/windy conditions - since you're experienced and have encountered this before you know what to bring. But let's review-Icers & rock helmet; hiking boots, warm and layered clothing. Lunch, snacks and at least 2 liters of water. Bag for your dirty boots/clothes afterwards-to save the driver's vehicle cleaning costs. Let's not forget your personal first aid kit.

Suggested Gear:, Hiking poles, gaiters, camera.

Gas Fee Contribution: $15 per passenger.

WAIVER: You must sign our club waiver before you are allowed to go on this trip and you shall arrive prepared with an emergency name and phone number to be recorded on the waiver. Organizer will have a group waiver for you to sign at the meetup location and/or the trailhead.
