WHO CAN ATTEND: no guests, no dogs, no kids, NO SPEED DEMONS
WE WILL MEET AT TRAILHEAD. I DO NOT ARRANGE CARPOOLING, IF YOU NEED A RIDE USE A MESSAGE BOARD BELOW, ONLY IF YOU AND YOUR DRIVER FEELS COMFORTABLE. PLEASE WEAR A MASK!

COVID19 GUIDELINES ARE IN PLACE:

EARLY START AS IT IS A LONG DAY.

Elevation Gain: +/- 700-900 m
Distance: +/-18-20 km

Time: 8--9 hours + driving time.

RATED AS OUTSTANDING IN "DON'T WAST YOUR TIME IN THE CANADIAN ROCKIES". IT IS KNOWN FOR ITS WILD FLOWERS AND LARCHES. THE FLOWERS MIGHT BE PAST THEIR PEAK, BUT THE SCENERY WILL BE BEAUTIFUL.

Pace - SLOW!!. Level: intermediate
We will be moving with a pace of a SLOWEST HIKER.
IF YOU ARE DOUBLE-BOOKED YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THIS EVENT. You must stay with the group for the duration of the hike.

Technical and physical Difficulty: moderate, steep sections.
Required Gear: Hiking boots, poles, dress in layers and be prepared for rain, snow, wind or any drastic weather change. Bring lunch, at least 2 L of water, carpool money, personal first air kit

Suggested: good attitude, camera

WAIVER: You must sign our club waiver before you are allowed to go on this trip and you shall arrive prepared with an emergency name and phone number to be recorded on the waiver. Organizer will have a group waiver for you to sign at the meetup location and/or the trailhead. You are required to read the Slow and Steady Hiker Club Waiver:
