"Lightning is Upon Us!" - CoinFest 2018 (4th Annual: Orange County, CA, USA)

Details

CoinFest is in its 5th annual, decentralized, global event, held on the first full week of April, around Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto's rumored birthday (April 5th). This is CoinFest OC's 4th consecutive year hosting and we anticipate this to be the biggest one yet, with more giveaways, fun and prizes, thanks to our kind sponsors, as well as Bitcoin and cryptocurrency awareness more frequently in the News media.

One of the primary attractions has been the International Hangout, which unites simultaneous events with distributed presentations related to cryptocurrency. However, this year we are bringing an even more "festive" environment! The Lightning Network will also be featured prominently, with many exciting surprises in store, including a planned Panel Debate.

CoinFest Global funds are distributed to subsidize qualifying event organizers in order to provide a FREE (and optional donation-based) event bringing the otherwise "expensive Convention experience" opportunity to each and all, with fun, approachable and engaging topics, education and intro into the fascinating cryptocurrency and blockchain space
