Session 1:
Unleashing power of Azure Machine Learning by Dinesh Srirangpatna
Session Details:
Get an understanding of the power of Machine learning (supervised learning/ unsupervised learning) to develop a predictive model that can be deployed easily. Get a hands-on look at the components of Azure ML – ingestion (datasets), transformation, training data, developed model and deployment. We will also cover some of the basics of models (regression, classification) built into the platform for common problems.

Bio:
Dinesh Srirangpatna is a Big Data Architect at Microsoft based out of SoCal. Dinesh has spent the last 20 years in architecture design, consulting and integration across the technology stack, from infrastructure to middleware to business applications. Dinesh current focus is the Big data, Analytics and IoT space. He helps Fortune 500 customers leverage Big Data, machine learning and analytics to drive competitive advantage.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Dinesh has worked for Samsung, HP, Toyota with varying roles such as Enterprise Architect, Technology Manager and developer. Dinesh is a frequent speaker at technology events evangelizing Big Data, Cloud, mobile at various conferences and events.

Extending Azure App Services by Michael Saul (3 Session Series, this is session 2 of 3)
Session Details: (This is Second session in a 3 session series)
Session 2: Extending Azure App Services
Building on what we learned from the previous session, we will explore the App Service Console and how we can extend the functionality of Azure App Service to support additional languages. We will demonstrate deployment of Ruby framework to the Azure App Service using Azure App Service Extensions or Kudu.
Bio:
Michael Saul has spent the past 18 years working with enterprise data center infrastructure. He recently joined Microsoft to focus on evangelizing Azure among enterprise customers in Southern California. Prior to joining Microsoft, Michael spent 5 years at Cisco as a Cloud Architect focusing on OpenStack and open source infrastructure and 4 years at HP as an Infrastructure Architect focusing on large scale management. Michael lives in Long Beach with his family where you can find them training for marathons or sailing in the bay.
