The ultimate goal of these hikes are to complete a 6 to 14 mile hike to the historic Goat Canyon Trestle, which is the world's largest wooden trestle, located in East San Diego county. We hope to do this hike in March 2018, as too soon and it will be wet, and too late it will be too hot. However, one does not complete such a task without conditioning and training. Therefore, this will be the first hike to train for the culminating hike.

The sixth of these hikes will be in scenic La Jolla, where we will go from the beach at La Jolla Shores Park to La Jolla Gliderport, and back ( https://goo.gl/maps/3tTpWABuWxH2 ). This will be 3 miles up, with a 400 foot rise in elevation on the way up. Total hike is about 6 miles.
