Do you want to watch the July 4th fireworks at every venue in the entire LA County at the same time and with completely no cost? This is the meet-up for you!
Follow our dear event host Tuo Li, aka Prince Fermata, to a secret place up on the mountain where you can see the entire LA County light up with sparkles under the beautiful twilight. With a telescope or even with your bare eyes, you can see firework shows at the Rose Bowl, Dodger Stadium, and other big venues around LA. Together with Tuo's 4th brony anniversary, we can make this 4th of July unforgettable.
We will head to Mt. Wilson Observatory on July 4th and settle in on the edge of the parking lot for an awesome view. There is also a cafe with picnic tables next to the parking lot. The bathroom is available. Although the cafe might be closed, everyone is welcome to bring food and drinks to make this event 20% more enjoyable.
Plenty of parking spaces are available up there. It does require a parking pass which can be purchased at Big 5 or other places. But it might not be a big deal since we arrived late in the day and will be keeping a line of sight with our vehicle almost at all times. Please try your best to arrive before 5 pm, cause the parking lot gate will close exactly at 5 pm and can only be opened by a car coming out from inside. There are no cellular signals at the location. But there is WIFI available around the cafe.
Please keep in mind that this event is hosted in an outdoor wilderness area at a slightly high elevation. Bring the necessary supplies if you need, and take care of yourself. This event might be canceled due to weather and other conditions.
