VIDEO STREAMING MADE EASY As the video and entertainment business migrate to the web-and 'going viral' on You Tube seems to be every corporate manager's goal, video streaming has become a necessity. At the next MCAI/New Meeting Meetup meeting, on August 19, learn just how easy it can be. Our special guest speakers are from T
elestream makers of hardware and software for video capture, creation, media transformation and viewing. Millimeter Magazine has given positive reviews to both Telestream's Wirecast and Episode-software that let's you encode any media to any format. The topic itself was fine and information the speaker gave was pretty good. However, I found the speaker was too "low key". He was a decent presenter but I felt that he could've had a bit more enthusiasm and control of the presentation. To me it made the meeting feel a bit boring. Bottom line though is that I got some helpful information and of course the people in attendance were great!

Excellent presentation. Speaker cleared up many of the mysteries of webcasting and streaming video. Very useful topic.

EXCELLENT Networking, as always, BUT the presentation was poor. The presenter is a bright fellow who would probably be extremely valuable in a one-on-one session but he could harldly be heard, was poorly organized and I learned nothing of value.
This could of been a more effective presentation if the presenter started out transmitting a live session, his, via his software and the Internet (via a free CDN) to Grace's laptop which could have been connected to the projector. This would have been dramatic and made a review of the set-up options more valuable -when they were done "after" the live demonstration.
I purposely stayed away from questions on DRM, custom viewing pages and the like as this was beyond his scope, but of extreme interest to me as a potential user. Again, nice fellow, poor execution.
