Orange County Rescue Mission has a mobile van that serves food to people in the community. A few people are welcome to help volunteer in serving food and talking with the guests.

OC Rescue Mission provides the food. Volunteers don't need to bring anything.

The parking lot can be tricky to find. Some people have gotten lost before. If anyone is helping for the first time and doesn't want to get lost, the photos & links below should help:

If anyone wants to park at the parking lot, the entrance looks likes this, with a small sign that says P4 Halls of Records Finance Admin

If anyone wants to park on Ross Street (meters) or elsewhere, look for a building with "16" on the top corner (see photo below), and next to it is a walkway. Walk by some tall trees and in the back of that building is the parking lot.

Redundant reiteration: The parking lot is BEHIND the building that says "16" in the top corner. If you're on Ross Street, you should be between Civic Center Dr and Santa Ana Blvd/5th St, and you need to walk east of Ross St to get to the parking lot.

Children are welcome to help, as long as a parent/guardian supervises.

A chili meal is served every Thursday throughout the year except Thanksgiving.

This is posted here twice a month, but it should occur every Thursday, so please feel free to attend whenever you want.

Totally understandable 4:45pm may be challenging for some people (work schedules, traffic, etc.). For anyone who can help, if parking on/near Ross St, to find the chili van and the parking lot, look for a walkway along some trees and this building.
