ONLINE: “The Entangled Life – Funji Chemistry and Twitter Trends”

Details

This is the Saturday afternoon meeting for Socrates Cafe. It's online. We meet every 2 weeks on Saturday.

The international bestseller “The Entangled Life”, by author Merlin Sheldrake, takes us on an amazing adventure through the world of funji and how they live and communicate with other colonies and other life forms. They also create extensive communities called mycelia. When they reproduce, their spores can even affect the weather. Join StoicDan this Saturday as we explore the life of funji. We will also compare the way they communicate with chemistry to something in the human world – Twitter trends.

MEETING FORMAT

The presentation will last about 10 minutes (recorded), and then an open discussion will follow (not recorded). You don't need to read any materials in advance.
