The Aeternity blockchain is an open-source, blockchain 3.0 platform for applications.
Aeternity tackles problems like scalability, usability, efficiency, governance, real world data, and contract security.
Aeternitys core implementation is written in Erlang, which allows it to be both: functional and highly scalable.
With it, Aeternity tries to achieve its main goal - to provide a powerful blockchain platforms for the industry with a reliable on-chain and off-chain performance while still remaining decentralized.

The meetup will be presented by Sergey Simanovsky, an official Ambassador for Aeternity in Portugal and Russia. Sergey has been working in the blockchain space since 2011.
