We are a meeting place for everyone who deeply cares about software development. We are a group of professionals who want to share their knowledge and learn from each other.
Software Craftsmanship Berlin aka Softwerkskammer Berlin is part of the Softwerkskammer.org network of other local Software Craftsmanship Communities. Our movement is inspired by the Manifesto for Software Craftsmanship:
"As aspiring Software Craftsmen we are raising the bar of professional software development by practicing it and helping others learn the craft. Through this work we have come to value:
* Not only working software, but also well-crafted software
* Not only responding to change, but also steadily adding value
* Not only individuals and interactions, but also a community of professionals
* Not only customer collaboration, but also productive partnerships
That is, in pursuit of the items on the left we have found the items on the right to be indispensable"
You're invited to join our remote design/architecture kata at @swkBerlin.
This time we focus on how to design software system interactions when the requirements change
Software Crafting is about caring for quality, sharing knowledge, and deliberate practice. Let's learn more about each other and start building a community of professionals to improve the way we work and produce better results. We will work on a kata in pairs/ensembles.
