The South Jersey Land & Water Trust (SJLWT) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect the land and water resources of southern New Jersey.
Join us for monthly walks in the woods, community cleanups, staff-led stream assessments, habitat restoration plantings, and educational workshops.

Join us in the fight against pollution! Help us pick up debris around New Brooklyn Lake Park while also enjoying a stroll around the grounds and learn the spring flora and fauna that surround the woods.
As always, gloves, grabbers, and any other tools will be provided!

Join us for a driving tour of the beautiful Delaware Bay! On our route, we’ll see sweeping wetlands, a giant and ancient Atlantic white cedar tree, historic towns, the East Point Lighthouse, and many bald eagles! At each stop, there will be opportunities for attendees to get out and take photographs while our host Michael Hogan gives details on the ecology and history of each location. Space is limited -- there's a 10 car limit -- so reserve your spot today!
Tour Highlights:
-A visit to the Schooner Project in Port Norris.
-Learn about the history of oyster fishing in the Delaware Bay.
-Walk the Shellpile wetlands boardwalk and see the giant ancient Atlantic white cedar tree.
-View the Matt’s Landing Impoundments along the Delaware Bay and Maurice River.
-Visit Thompson Beach Road observation platform.
-Explore East Point Lighthouse.
