Join us in the fight against pollution! Help us pick up debris around New Brooklyn Lake Park while also enjoying a stroll around the grounds and learn the spring flora and fauna that surround the woods.
As always, gloves, grabbers, and any other tools will be provided!

Oldman's Creek Preserve Work Day

Volunteers are needed to help clear out some woody tree growth from the OCP meadow that are out-shading native flowers such as milkweed and White Aster. Please RSVP.

Delaware Bay Driving Tour

Bayshore Center at Bivalve

Join us for a driving tour of the beautiful Delaware Bay! On our route, we’ll see sweeping wetlands, a giant and ancient Atlantic white cedar tree, historic towns, the East Point Lighthouse, and many bald eagles! At each stop, there will be opportunities for attendees to get out and take photographs while our host Michael Hogan gives details on the ecology and history of each location. Space is limited -- there's a 10 car limit -- so reserve your spot today!

Tour Highlights:
-A visit to the Schooner Project in Port Norris.
-Learn about the history of oyster fishing in the Delaware Bay.
-Walk the Shellpile wetlands boardwalk and see the giant ancient Atlantic white cedar tree.
-View the Matt’s Landing Impoundments along the Delaware Bay and Maurice River.
-Visit Thompson Beach Road observation platform.
-Explore East Point Lighthouse.

Cooper Poynt Park Cleanup

Cooper's Poynt Park

Spend your Saturday with us on the edge of the Delaware River and clean up the Cooper Poynt Park with its scenic view of the Philadelphia skyline. Gloves and bags will be provided.
