The South Jersey Land & Water Trust (SJLWT) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect the land and water resources of southern New Jersey.
Join us for monthly walks in the woods, community cleanups, staff-led stream assessments, habitat restoration plantings, and educational workshops.

Spring Wildflower Walk at Batsto Village
Batsto Village Vistitor's Center Parking Lot, 31 Batsto Road, Hammonton, NJ, USJoin us on a nature walk through the Pinelands where we’ll look for South Jersey's largest flowering orchid -- the Pink Lady’s Slipper. As we admire these showy orchids, we’ll learn more about them -- like how they require a specific species of fungus in order to survive and reproduce. We’ll also see other spring blooming Pinelands plants and insectivorous plants such as sundews. So grab your cameras and join us as we learn about these colorful and fascinating plants!
