Are you interested in bringing more joy and vitality to your life? Are you looking for a fun, uplifting way to relieve stress and anxiety and have some fun at the same time? Join us for a laughter class! Laughter Yoga is a whole body, well-being workout; it’s joyful and healthy exercise that combines unconditional laughter with deep breathing exercises and light movement. There are no actual yoga poses involved. The “yoga” aspect is the breathing and mindfulness exercises we do. This class is a wonderful opportunity to experience, practice and reinforce stress-reducing, joy-boosting techniques that you can utilize in everyday life. Laughter Yoga is available to everybody; you can even participate in a chair! It is also family friendly. It is not comedy. You don’t need to be flexible or funny. Mindfulness training helps develop the skills necessary to establish a healthier relationship to stress so we can live a more peaceful and satisfying life. We will meet for 8 weeks from Jan. 23- March 13 from 1pm-3:15pm. This is a profound journey of inner stillness where Sound Healing is combined with the deep rest of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep, a state of conscious deep sleep for extreme relaxation and subtler spiritual exploration that is as restorative as 3 hours of sleep. The guided Yoga Nidra meditation will included a sound healing of Crystal Bowls and other meditative instruments that could include, Tibetan Bowl, Native American Drums and Rattles, Rainsticks, French Chimes, and Crystal Singing Pyramid as the back drop to help you quickly shift your brain waves into a deeper theta wave meditative state. Crystal Singing Bowls work on a vibrational level to help remove disharmony and tension from your body, mind, and spirit while raising your energetic vibration and promoting relaxation, rejuvenation, and healing. In this special class we will use the ancient Healing Arts of Yoga, Sound Healing, and Deep Relaxation to relieve ourselves of stress, anxiety and worries that can bog us down.
