What we’re about
Hi everyone,
I'm afraid this group has disbanded. We had a great run and many publications for the various members, but we've all moved on to different phases in our writing paths. We wish you all good luck in finding a critique group that fits your needs. Here is the previous description; the format worked well for many years:
I'm a writer, a graduate of the Odyssey Writing Workshop, and editor of NewMyths.com magazine (www.newmyths.com). We have formed a group of semi-pro and pro writers in Orange County whose purpose is twofold: 1) improve each other's work through thoughtful critiques and 2) provide deadlines to keep everyone writing. The group is open to writers of any fiction genre so long as you produce new work every month for us to critique.
We wouldn't be much help to either poetry or nonfiction writers.
All interested members must submit a sample of their work (five pages, double spaced). You won't be admitted unless the current members feel your level coincides with the group's.
