💡 Start Rewiring How You Present — Before You Walk In the Door
Try these on for size:

• Find the human in your data — Behind every number is a person, a moment, or a "why." Dig for it before your next talk.
• Lead with a moment, not a metric — Open with a scene or story, then bring in the data to back it up — not the other way around.
• Cut the clutter — A story needs only the details that move it forward. If a stat doesn't serve the story, cut it.
• Use the arc, not the outline — Setup, conflict, resolution beats bullet point 1, 2, 3 every time.
• Practice in low-stakes moments — Tell the story to a friend before you tell it to a room. Reps build instinct.

• Identify your default — Do you ramble when nervous? Go quiet under pressure? Name the habit before you can change it.

• Use the cue-routine-reward loop — Every habit has a trigger. Learn to recognize yours and you can redirect it in real time.
