What we’re about

Stamford BIT: Business Intelligence and Technologies is a group for anyone interested in any technologies in the realm of Business Intelligence and Data Science. If you deal with something generally related to converting data into useful insight, then you will benefit from joining the group.
Whether you're in business, academia, or government, and whether you're an analyst, data miner, programmer, student, electrical engineer, computer scientist, physicist, etc., and you work with data to generate insights, build predictive models, build optimization models, build reports, build dashboards, build visualizations, automate analyses, etc., using python, R, SQL, C/C+, Java, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Hadoop, etc., and you care about doing it right, efficiently, repetitively, optimally, visually, etc., then join us!
We meet every month and feature speakers with a broad range of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Science and Analytics. The events are also intended for networking-- both virtually, or in-person (beer, wine, soft drinks, and pizza are provided when we meet in person-- hopefully soon!). Meetings start at 6:30, and doors will open at 6 pm to meet and greet the other members.
We look forward to holding our in-person Meetups at Serendipity Labs in Stamford, CT when it's safe for groups to gather again. Until then, the group will meet virtually, and Zoom invites will be made visible to all who RSVP to the event. Stamford: BIT is sponsored by Benchmark IT - Technology Talent (bmarkits.com).
