Join us next Wednesday, April 30th for an evening with Carlos Eduardo Espinal, Partner at Seedcamp, a pan-European, London based accelerator that provides startups with seed money, mentorship, office space and support over a yearlong program. As one of the world's biggest accelerators, Seedcamp has invested in over 100 startups including FrontBack, Milkster and EDITD. Carlos was recently revealed to have invested in Tech.eu, a new European news site headed up by former Editor of TechCrunch, Robin Wauters.
Prior to Seedcamp, he was a venture capitalist at Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, an early stage investment firm based in London. Before Doughty Hanson, Carlos was an engineer for the Advanced Communications Technologies group of The New York Stock Exchange (SIAC) where he focused on the next generation of wireless and mobile trading platforms for the exchange.
Carlos will join us to talk about Seedcamp's investment focus, as well as his views on what startups should be doing to really differentiate themselves in the very animated market here and across the continent. Besides this, we'll hear about his general experiences in the industry.
